Help Transform a Hidden French Art Deco Rotunda into a Living Artwork
In Reims, France — the city of Champagne — I am bringing a forgotten Art Deco rotunda back to life through a long-term artistic vision.
HEY !
I am Franque, a French watercolor artist based in Reims, France.
I Found It
A few years ago, destiny placed this Art Deco rotunda on my path.
It was neglected. Almost forgotten. Nobody seemed to want it.
But I could not ignore it.
So I decided to save it.
I Saved It
After many highs and lows, the rotunda became a raw gem again.
Then I discovered its deeper story: a story connected to Reims, to the reconstruction after the First World War, and to the Art Deco builders who shaped the city.
For four years, hundreds of travelers from around the world stayed here.
They did not just sleep in an apartment.
They experienced a hidden piece of French Art Deco.
The Vision
But saving the room was only the beginning.
From the first day, I felt that this place was asking for something more.
Not decoration.
Not nostalgia.
A true artistic rebirth.
My vision is to transform this rotunda into a living Art Deco artwork — a place where French heritage, watercolor, and beauty meet again.
The Artist Awakens
To make this vision real, I had to return to the artist buried inside me for 33 years.
I picked up my pencils again.
I began with watercolor.
And little by little, I understood what kind of artist I wanted to become: an artist devoted to French Art Deco, heritage, and the creation of beauty.
